Owl's Head Park

Our Saturday was going to be dedicated to productivity, we were just going to take a quick run to the playground for madam. But, we got outside, felt the sun and did not want to go back in! So, we found ourselves at Owl's Head Park right on the water, having an impromptu picnic. Verrazano Bridge to one side and the Statue of Liberty on the other.
The good time turned great, when we stumbled upon 7-eleven and Lo had her first Pina Colada slurpee. She did have a little spill, so she took a shirtless nap on her pop.

da 'hood part II

a few more goodies. what really drew us to this neighborhood, was that you could get DECENT dental work done. that was a top priority. we were also very excited about Jaunita's Bridal Shop. it's full of yarn, felt, and quincenera sparkle!

Lola's kind of Breakfast nook.

Yeah so, we don't have a table or a highchair. That sounds really crazy I am sure, but then when you hear I live in New York.....it's more understandable. There are exceptions to pretty much every rule here & you just gotta improvise. Hence, Lola's breakfast nook....a radiator.
